  I have been with farmers, with Zylstra until he retired and referred me to David walker and I have always been very happy. BTW surface has been since my first car in 1987, multiple houses , cars, boats, and business. The few times I did have to report a claim it was very easy and convenient.

  I hate Wells Fargo. As soon as my tax return gets deposited, I'm closing the account. From the moment I opened the account, I requested that my transactions decline if there is no money in the account. They assured me it would. Then I was pinned with overdraft fees for transactions that went through anyway. I went in to get it resolved. They apologized, said they had to issue me a new card and that it shouldn't happen again. Well, I have been back 5 times now for the same problem and they keep issuing me a new card and saying the problem should be fixed now. Then the issue happened to my girlfriend. So we went in and they fixed it by changing her account from a "yes" in allowing it, to a "no" and she also asked when the account was opened that the card be decline if no funds are available. Then confusingly I mentioned to the banker that I've been having the same problem and that they just issue me a new card. They were confused and said that's not how it's suppose to be fixed. And then they charged my girlfriend to transfer money from one account to the next even though on their website it says there is no cost to do so. When I did so, I got a notice that I only get 6 free transfers every monthly cycle and her fee was during the very beginning of the month and it was her first one. I know the law says the max a bank can charge for overdraft is $35, so I'm just baffled why a multi-billion dollar bank would charge the max amount even if the overdraft was $1. Or they'll charge you something like $15 to transfer $3. Wouldn't it make sense to charge proportionate to the amount that's overdrafted or transferred? Smaller banks don't even charge for transfers or the max amount for overdraft. I'm gonna go to a different bank and have a real banking experience with a bank that isn't trying to suck out every dollar you have.

• Review of "Christ Lutheran Preschool" at Ferndale

  Great school! My son currently goes here. Very affordably and my son learned to write his name very quickly his first year. The teachers are awesome and my son always tells me the funny things they say. It's in a convenient location also. Overall it's an awesome school!!! They do tours. Check it out!!!
